Is this really cheaper than the premium stick brands?

On the numbers we checked in July 2026: the category leader's Original 24-pack sells for $55.00 on their own site. Ours is $39.99 on a first subscriber box and $42.49 after, plus $4.99 shipping. Even all-in, the box lands under theirs before shipping.

What is the catch on the subscription?

There is not one. It lives in your account portal: skip, pause, swap, or cancel in a couple of clicks. You could take the first box at $39.99 and cancel the same week. The smokehouse is betting you won't want to.

Are the sticks the same size?

No, and we say so: their stick is 1.15oz, ours is 1oz. Even measured per ounce, ours costs less. Theirs also has 0g sugar to our 1g per stick, and we print that too.
